Steglinge AB is a growing fruit and vegetable company - part of the fast-moving FMCG industry. We deliver quality, service and commitment to our customers all over Scandinavia. To continue to develop our purchasing organization, we are now looking for a Buyer who wants to contribute to order, development and long-term relationships with our suppliers.

In this role, you will be an important part of a close-knit team responsible for the entire supply chain - from ordering and delivery to follow-up and analysis. You will work closely with our suppliers and colleagues at Steglinge in sales, production and logistics. You work both operationally, analytically and strategically. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to creating effective routines, monitoring profitability and developing the department's working methods.

Your responsibilities

  • Implementing and following up purchases - from order to invoicing
  • Maintain regular contact with suppliers on prices, volumes, delivery times and quality
  • Manage item data, price lists and other administration in business systems
  • Contribute to the improvement and development of processes and procedures in purchasing
  • Monitor key performance indicators and work on margin and flow improvements
  • Participate in internal development projects related to efficiency and digitalization

We are looking for you who                                                                                    

  • Have experience in purchasing, logistics or administration
  • Is meticulous, structured and likes order and tidiness
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with quick decisions where you are involved in creating structure in your everyday life
  • Have good computer skills and are confident working in business systems and Excel
  • Is sociable, curious and thrives in a highly collaborative role
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Want to contribute to the development - both of working methods and the long-term work of the department
  • - but most important is the right attitude!
