This week we have started the carrot harvest, and our first Swedish carrots are soon ready to find their way to the stores. The earliest ones come from our fields just outside Höganäs, where the mild coastal climate and fertile soil create optimal conditions for tasty, sustainable root vegetables.

Through local and careful cultivation work, combined with long experience, Steglinge can offer carrots for different needs throughout the season - from fresh bunches directly from the field to washed and packaged varieties adapted for both households and commercial kitchens. At Steglinge , we also wash, peel and process the carrots for different needs in our ambition to make locally grown and sustainable vegetables available to more people.

Carrots are a staple in many Swedish homes - and for good reason. They're full of fiber, vitamins and nutrition, and they're incredibly versatile: perfect for grating into a salad, roasting in the oven, boiling into soup or squeezing into juice. Our carrots are grown to taste great, last a long time, and suit different dishes and needs. With all of Steglinge's different departments, we maximize each individual harvest, keep transport to a minimum and find uses for all varieties of the raw material regardless of size or quality.
